Job Description

Looking for a highly organized individual to support the JV Merchandise Manager in creating and streamlining reports/data/calendars to ensure optimal functionality of the JV team.

Essential Job Results-

  • Assist in creating and maintaining weekly/monthly cross-functional tools including on-order reporting, development trackers and marketing calendars.
  • Manage and track the flow of samples for on-time Conference and Preline dates
  • Communicate all relevant reporting to merchandise manager in a timely manner.

 Daily and weekly duties:

  • Answer JV partners product questions while continually sending out product information.
  • Tracking samples, development, and confirmation samples of direct sales sub-line
  • Help streamline communications with JV partners on key initiatives, launch dates, marketing campaign.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills; able to effectively communicate with different departments and partners overseas.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of retail math and key metrics to measure and drive assortment planning.
  • Support various project initiatives as assigned by merchandisers.

Education And Experience- 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years of relevant merchandising or buying/retail experience
  • Must have very strong proficiency in Excel (pivot/vlookups), Powerpoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to support a team environment
  • Must have awareness of trends, competitive price positioning, and market share
  • Must have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • International experience a plus
  • Sales background a plus
