Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Paid Digital Acquisition to support our eCommerce businesses through Paid Media channels (Programmatic Display, Paid Search & Shopping, Retargeting and Affiliates). The Director of Paid Digital Acquisition will strategize and execute digital media plans and go-to-market testing roadmaps targeting audiences at every point of the conversion funnel to drive eCommerce performance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of analytics, and possess a passion and curiosity for digital marketing and media.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • Own the digital media planning process, orchestrating eCommerce initiatives to meet sales targets and other customer-centric metrics (CPA, CPO, ROAS).
  • Own the Paid Media sales forecast and budget/accrual process, collaborating with cross-functional leads to ensure marketing spend efficacy.
  • Lead the paid media reporting/analytics process and provide timely performance updated across channels that impact business metrics
  • Responsible for highly effective media performance across various paid media channels with a focus on growth and new customer acquisition.
  • Define a measurement and learning framework, evolving benchmarks and goals for various initiatives.
  • Design and implement testing methodologies that substantiate the impact of digital marketing strategies and tactics on omnichannel sales and revenue.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop creative assets messaging evergreen or promotional details to new or existing customers.
  • Synthesize campaign learnings and communicate data-driven recommendations and best practices to the DIG organization.
  • Collaborate with the CRM and Business Intelligence teams to identify growth areas channel optimizations leveraging 1st and 3rd party data sets.
  • Work with affiliate agency to drive new subscriber growth through the development of online, possibly in-store affiliate programs to increase traffic, conversion, and revenue.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 7-10 years of digital marketing experience, managing digital campaigns to acquire & engage users throughout the funnel.
  • Exceptional communications skills, with experience managing external partner relationships a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proven record to drive the evolution of a program through the application of data insights.
  • Proficiency in Media buying experience, DSP, DMP and ad serving/tracking (DCM) understanding preferred.
  • Proficiency across Paid Search, Shopping and Retargeting platforms.
  • Experience or familiary with Affilitate marketing and measurement framework.
  • Experience in direct management of Social Platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn) and familiarity with agency management of these channels.
  • Extensive working knowledge in marketing/analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and other data aggregation tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
