JOB PURPOSE
Skechers’ Digital Innovation Group is seeking a candidate who will oversee all aspects of Skechers eCommerce platforms and operations, with the goal of improving Skechers consumer-facing digital experiences to support key initiatives and revenue goals. Your team will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and measuring the success of our eCommerce efforts. The Senior Director will champion innovation and work across the Skechers organization to ensure we're using best practices to develop industry competitive solutions and experiences.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS
Responsibilities
Manage a team responsible for the execution and operation of several state-of-the-art technology platforms.
Manage commercial analytics and insights, data analytics, competitive intelligence and forecasting for eCommerce metrics.
Negotiate with third party vendors on new solutions and technologies and act as key liaison.
Execute digital marketing initiatives, including KPIs and other metrics for monitoring performance and progress.
Provide vision, direction, and prioritization to internal and external development teams.
Work with internal marketing teams to determine integration opportunities.
Ensure partner needs are met and answered swiftly.
Oversee and maintain roadmap of features and solutions for all responsible platforms.
Oversee the planning and execution of legacy system migrations.
Ensure project goals and milestones are met while adhering to budgets.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure expectations are defined and set on goals, milestones, and budget.
Define and approve user experience for digital marketing initiatives.
Define process to ensure our platforms and operations are running efficiently.
Build green light documents and presentation decks to communicate at executive level.
Keep abreast of Agile best practices.
Key Areas:
Manage and maintain global eCommerce platform(s)
Work with retail to ensure site is properly merchandised
Oversee user experience of eCommerce website and mobile application
Develop and execute eCommerce feature roadmap against business objectives
Provide direction to define and optimize site features including information architecture, navigation, site search & browse, product detail pages, marketing integrations, and content.
Work closely with marketing to optimize tags, SEM, SEO, and overall site engagement features.
Lead team to optimize Agile SCRUM process (SDLC)
Work with multiple third party vendors to ensure our platform integrations are up to date and optimized.
Work with IT on integrations with OMS and web services
Ensure new features are properly tagged and measured
Develop international platform strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in IT, Retail, Merchandising, and Marketing to drive success.

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
10+ years’ experience working in a digital environment building and/or operating complex web applications and teams
Passion for entrepreneurship and building great consumer facing software solutions for global audiences
Strong background in creating premium digital product experiences spanning the entire customer lifecycle including media, marketing and commerce
Vision to create the businesses and technologies that powers future of eCommerce
Strong background in Agile SCRUM management practices and associated tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack, etc.)
Fundamental understanding of modern web technologies (React, Angular, JQuery, Node, Java, Ruby, etc.)
Experience launching major and managing major eCommerce solutions and/or web catalog based web applications.
Effective leadership and management skills
