Job Description

Assist the SVP of Retail in office administrative functions including prioritizing and organizing daily information flow, communication, project delegation, and general follow-up.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • Manage SVP’s calendar and e-mails to ensure timeliness of meetings and awareness of current priorities.
  • Manage the flow of information so that urgent e-mails are answered in a timely manner and CEO memos are distributed for action within the same day.
  • Organize and prioritize daily flow of information, sorting printed emails by urgency and category.
  • Maintain SVP’s filing system in a logical manner for quick information access.
  • Learn company reports, their meaning, and how to look up information to help provide research support.
  • Manage the flow of employee requests to meet or talk with the SVP according to priority, and obtain the necessary information beforehand so the SVP is aware of the discussion topic.
  • Collaborate with other Executive Assistants from different departments to set up meetings.
  • Book SVP’s business and personal travel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Basic Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel computer skills
  • Two or more years of full-time experience in footwear or apparel industry preferred
  • Experience with Concur, Kronos, Oracle PeopleSoft, FileNet preferred
