Due to increasing sales growth in our Asia Region, Skechers USA Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Recruiting Specialist for our in-house Talent Acquisition Team! This role will make a big impact immediately, supporting all three functions in our Skechers Japan G.K. subsidiary - Corporate, Retail Stores and Distribution Center.
Reporting to the USA-based Talent Acquisition Manager for International, the Recruiting Specialist will focus on three areas of responsibility:
Working multiple job requisitions across our three Japan channels, the Recruiting Specialist will identify and assess qualified candidates who bring compatible skills to the position. The role serves as an advisor to their hiring managers, advising them on the talent pipeline available in the market and the proper employment compensation package to entice candidates to the role. The Recruiting Specialist will also create and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies that result in qualified candidates and requisitions that are closed within the forecasted time-to-fill.
Ensuring the correct recruiting tools for our Skechers Japan G.K. subsidiary is a crucial part of this role. The Recruiting Specialist will work with the Talent Acquisiton Manager for International to monitor recruitment vendors progress and measure our return on investment when working with outside agencies. They will also ensure our applicant tracking system and job board partnerships are optimized for their hiring managers needs. The Recruiting Specialist will study and recommend tools, vendors and products that will elevate the speed of our recruitment searches and the quality of our candidates.
The Recruiting Specialist will also partner with the Country HR Manager to assist in delivering first-line HR support, especially for new employees. They will deliver new hire orientation and facilitate the proper new hire documents process to ensure their newly hired candidates have a successful on-boarding to Skechers.
This position requires 100% fluency in Japanese and English to be successful. Candidates should have strong experience communicating in writing and verbally with both Japanese and US audiences. We regret we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
Additionally, this is a permanent, full-time employee position. We are not seeking agency support of any kind as a substitute for filling this role. We are also not seeking contract recruiters at this time.
Successful candidates will have actual recruitment experience in talent acquisition (either in-house or agency) and also have in-house experience in the HR or corporate administration discipline. Candidates with Multi-National, Western Company experience will be given preference in order to ensure a strong culture fit with Skechers Inc.
The Recruiting Specialist postion will be based in our Skechers Japan G.K. office in Shiodome City Center in Minato, Tokyo.
