Job Description

Job Purpose

Assist with European visual and marketing requirements including point of purchase material, event planning, promotional signage, and sales initiatives which supports our retail sales objectives. This position will assist in the collaboration with European retail management, European Retail and Franchise partners, corporate and country management with marketing assets, community events, grand openings, and special events, along with assisting with visuals in stores.  Additionally, the position will be responsible for administrative support of the marketing and visual department including managing inventory levels of marketing materials and giveaways, and tracking of POP orders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain European marketing calendar.
  • Work on multiple independent strategic marketing and visual initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Help organise and plan events including store openings and special events.
  • Monitor and maintain marketing, promotional and point of purchase inventory and communicate as necessary.
  • Research and execute marketing opportunities as needed including vendor negotiation.
  • Assist in partnering with marketing managers where applicable.
  • Compose memos to communicate direction / directives to European partners.
  • Update marketing collateral in conjunction with seasonal changes and product initiatives. Monitor the International Retail Supply Program and feedback to Corporate when changes or updates are needed.
  • Work closely with Graphics department to develop creative and manage the process from inception to execution.  Ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Maintain a database of marketing graphic assets.
  • Recap reports for localised marketing and advertising.
  • Undertake other special projects as assigned.
  • Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Marketing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of expense awareness and control.
  • Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships among all cross-functional groups.
  • Must display a high degree of professionalism, tact and diplomacy.
  • Must possess strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple projects.
  • Flexibility to frequent changes and ability to react quickly.
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative and a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
  • Proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Adobe Photoshop is preferred with InDesign and Illustrator as an advantage.
