Job Description

The Visual Merchandise Coordinator assists with the process and implementation of Visual Merchandising strategies, interior displays, and related field communications to support the “Global” objectives of the Retail Division. Must have a solid understanding of product placement strategies for multiple retail concepts, and have the experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Reports directly to the Director of Visual Merchandising.

Essential Job Results

  • Assist in implementation and communication of all visual direction regarding windows, installations, display standards, merchandise direction within internal corporate mock store.
  • Assist in window installations on an as need basis.
  • Follow project timelines as required within the visual calendar. 
  • Coordinate Visual projects from concept to completion.
  • Assist in the execution of Floor-set and Window direction for stores.
  • Adhere to store opening timeline and visual communications for Retail’s store opening process.
  • Maintains and updates Visual Calendar.
  • Maintains the store Master trait files for all props, fixtures, and fixtures components.
  • Work in conjunction with the Visual Merchandising department- Graphics & POP to ensure all elements of new initiatives/updates are properly executed on the store level.
  • Assist in any additional Visual projects on an as need basis

Job Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Visual Merchandising Coordinator or Associate or similar role.
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative and a strong sense of ownership and urgency
  • solid computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and proficiency in Word) and Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, and Photoshop).
  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills. Strong Project Managing experience and flexibility to adapt to change
  • Ability to work cross functionally and develop relationships strong interpersonal working relationships and work cross functionally

Education and Experience
  • Must have at least 2-4 years of experience in Visual Merchandising Coordinator or Associate or related position.
  • Footwear or apparel industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • AA in visual communications, merchandising or marketing or related field is preferred, but not required.
