 The Skechers Talent Acquisition team is at the central hub of the entire organization and fuels the companys success with amazing talent.  The Talent Acquisitions Manager leads a team of Retail Recruiters to driving outstanding results in finding top talent and supporting company expansion.  This management role serves as a primary business partner to senior field leaders and HR colleagues, influencing and advising their clients across a large, multi-state and multi-region area.  The Talent Acquisitions Manager has a vision, knows how to make it happen and brings it to life while managing a hiring process to ensure the candidate experience is exceptional throughout all positions and store types.    

The Fundamentals:

                Architect: Develops and builds a broad, strategic, multi-dimensional ecosystem for Talent Acquisition at Skechers with short and long term visions that elevate recruiting and the company.  Continues growing the recruiting team and fosters the teams progress and scalability to attract and retain talent across all levels and geographies.  A big focus will also be to continue to grow recruiting programs within retail and to build internal succession for future recruiters in the company.

                Expert: Puts their exceptional recruiting chops to work in developing recruiting strategies that meet and exceed hiring plans and innovate hiring and interview processes.  Demonstrates an outstanding example for their team, leading all level of searches, as business needs demand.    The TA Manager for Retail will make strategy their number one priority and team goals are executed consistently.

                Operations Wizard: Ensures outstanding execution across their team and function by leveraging their deep operational skills to achieve incredible productivity, time management, budget adherence, expense management, employment law compliance, and hiring policies development.   The TA Manager will ensure they take initiative to build processes and development programs to improve in operational compliance for the team and retail business partners.

                Driver: Owns and leads a wide array of critical talent channel programs that advance the teams mission and deliver on its recruiting goals on campus (new graduate and intern recruiting) and through diversity & inclusion outreach.  Consistently is aware of our marketing drivers to help build our Talent Brand and ensure the team is marketing expert with all searches.  It is critical for the TA manager to build business partnerships in the department.

                Coach: Mentors and guides their direct and indirect reports to incredible accomplishments and fosters their continual development in their role.  Impacts talent development and growth across the country through their stewardship of succession planning programs and training plan completion.     

                Analyst: Leverages their data-hungry curiosity to analyze metrics and reporting to monitor, recognize and improve the team’s performance.  Co-administrates the team’s ATS and problem solves for system issues while overseeing usage and broadening functionality.  Uses their analytical skills as they partner and collaborate with Directors of HR and Operations to assess turnover and retention and identify areas for improvement.  Understands and manages regional recruiter expenses and spending in order to meet Return on Investment with each travel for a recruiter.

                Ambassador: Passionately leads, develops and defines the company’s employment brand and candidate experience through global hiring events, digital and social media programs, revamped job posts and print/digital assets.  Ensures that the candidate experience is at the forefront of team development and assessments.

                Partner: Serves as a collaborator, colleague and resource for the Retail Operations Team, merchants, corporate advertising department, brand managers and external vendors and search firms.  This position requires a travel percentage of 30-50%.
