Job Description

Reporting to the New Store Opening Manager, the New Store Opening Coordinator manages and coordinates the successful execution of all new store openings, remodels and relocations within SKECHERS Retail.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS 
  • Liason to the corporate office for all communication throughout process of opening and remodeling of Retail Stores.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Adheres to all Company Policies, Procedures and Safety regulations.
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 70%-90% of the time based on new store opening schedule.
  • Interacts with all levels throughout the organization including employees and outside vendors.
  • High degree of interaction with Retail Field Teams and supporting SKECHERS departments.
  • Resolve issues with fixture, signage, equipment and/or supplies.
  • Supports store operating processes and in-store execution.
  • Supports the field as deemed by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of retail store level retail management experience required
  • 3+ years of retail store opening experience required
