Job Description

The Promotional Graphics Coordinator will focus on in-store marketing and promotional signage for all SKECHERS divisions geared to attract customers and encourage sales; ensuring that the brand integrity is upheld and all legal guidelines are followed while providing creative on target messaging. Manage the process from initial concept through sampling and production.

Essential Job Results

  • Coordinate the design and production of all card stock in-store/ semi-permanent in-store marketing materials for domestic and international.
  • Coordinate and design translated in-store marketing materials
  • Coordinate the design and production of six Point Of Purchase catalogs.
  • Assist in the management of inventory flow
  • Research to gain an understanding of what is needed by each brand
  • Research costs and work within budgetary guidelines.
  • Oversee the production of the chosen design, checking quality and making sure the project is completed to schedule.
  • Partner with outside vendors on Shop in Shop elements and layout

Additional Responsibilities

  • Create presentations for clients.
  • Support all aspects of product sales conferences and sales meetings; including planning and placing POP, set up and breakdown.
  • Assist with custom projects as needed.
  • Prepare reports as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a working knowledge and design experience of promotional graphics; semi-permanent displays, banners, counter signs, counter mats, digital displays, floor graphics, table tents etc.
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size type.
  • Must have a working knowledge of substrates.
  • Be able to concentrate and work to tight deadlines.
  • Be aware of current trends and activities in design, footwear and culture
  • Have a working knowledge of typography, a flair for design and color.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills, with strong attention to detail to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative, a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Must display a high degree of professionalism, tact and diplomacy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in promotional signage design, or graphic design.
  • Expert in Photoshop, InDesign,
  • BA or AA in graphic design or a related field is preferred.
  • Footwear or apparel industry experience is preferred.
