The Skechers Talent Acquisition team is at the central hub of the entire organization and fuels
the company’s success with amazing talent.  We are seeking a Contract Recruiter to support our fast-growing Japan Retail organization. This role can be full or part-time and must be an independent contractor - we are not seeking agency recruiting partners to fulfill this need.  In order to be successful, the Contract Recruiter in this role must speak fluent Japanese and English.  

The role oversees both Corporate Office positions and Store-level searches for Skechers Japan. 

The Fundamentals:

• Expert: Puts their exceptional recruiting chops to work in developing search & recruiting strategies that meet and exceed hiring plans.

• Maximizer: Develops and leads a wide array of localized talent channel programs that advance their candidate pool and meets the business’ talent needs to deliver on its recruiting goals.

• Ambassador: Passionately leads and ensures an exceptional candidate experience through
  digital and social media recruiting, job posts and throughout the entire interview process.

• Partner: Serves as a collaborator, colleague, advisor and resource for our Japanese and US Team and leaders on all things talent: hiring, retention, succession, training, development and HR tools.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skill-sets:  

-You're an expert in talent acquisition and have led recruiting in a retail, hospitality, restaurant or related field.  

-Even with a complex, national territory, you still function effectively and even thrive in times of change, evolving business needs and shifting priorities.

-Communication could be your middle name, with your highly developed
ability to convey information in Japanese and English to multiple audiences in writing or verbally.
