Job Description

The Vice President, Finance will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of Sirtex. The VP will oversee all financial functions, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and compliance across our global operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving financial performance in a multinational environment.

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead a global financial team and system development, including in North America, Asia, and Europe. Ability to identify issues and continuously improve existing systems and processes.
  • Cash and debt management and experience in controlling financial risks.
  • Budget management and execution
  • Provide a strategic vision and capability while engaging deeply with business operations and key clients, develop medium- and long-term financial strategies to support the company's five-year development plan, and organize team implementation.
  • Identify current financial information system issues and lead successful financial information system initiatives.
  • Forecasting and financial modeling, with a track record of providing key financial decision-making support for mergers, acquisitions, and business development deals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business. MBA and CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of financial management experience, ideally in both large and small companies.
  • Experience in medical technology companies preferred.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with experience working in different cultural contexts. Ability to handle multi-party, multi-time-zone communications with high adaptability and flexibility.
  • Experience in ERP systems, SAP financial systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Extensive experience in cash and debt management and successful experience in controlling financial risks.
  • Comprehensive experience in budget management and execution.
  • Experience in team building and performance management, with the ability to cultivate talented financial professionals, build team core strength and efficient organizational structure, and maintain talent stability.
  • Knowledge of international financial compliance and regulations, with practical experience.
  • Strong external and internal client communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team influence. Excellent presentation skills, clear logic, and ability to drive morale.
  • Highly insightful with the ability to drive and implement change.

The target base salary range for this position will range from $270,000 to $300,000 annually. Individual compensation for this job requisition will be based on non-discriminatory factors, including your geographic location, skills, experience, education and other factors as they relate to the position requirements.  Actual compensation may vary depending on the confirmed job-related skills and experience.

In addition to the expected base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in Sirtex’s incentive programs (target bonus of 25% for this position) and benefit plans, which include paid sick and vacation time, health insurance and a generous 401k matching program.
