Senior Software Engineer (Full-stack, Web)
- Full-time
Company Description
Launched in 2016, Simplesat is a software startup with a mission to enable service teams to collect, analyze, and publish customer satisfaction feedback.
Measuring and improving customer satisfaction is more than just launching a survey. For feedback to have a real changing impact in an organization, it needs to connect and seamlessly integrate with critical systems like CRMs, helpdesks, and chat apps. Simplesat’s focus is to make that happen by shipping early, often, listening to our customers and then doing it all over again.
Our company headquarters are in Bangkok, Thailand with a satellite office in Manila, Philippines.

Job Description
At Simplesat, we help support teams collect customer feedback and actually do something with it. We’re lean, profitable, and obsessed with making our survey product simple, useful, and just a little bit adorable 🐣
We’re now looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full-stack, Web) in Bangkok to help us ship features that feel smooth, look cute, and work reliably at scale, someone who can solve complex problems, learns fast, and wants to make a real impact.
🧡 Why you might love this role
- Work on a real product used daily by real customers around the world
- Own features end-to-end – Data schema, APIs, UI, tests, and UX polish
- Bounce between backend and frontend (or go deep in one and learn the other)
- Help shape how things are built, not just “take tickets.”
- Join a small, friendly, slightly weird team where your ideas actually matter
🧠 Why Simplesat is interesting (for engineers)
- Build where it matters: You’ll work on the core product that powers surveys, responses, analytics, and dashboards that customers rely on every day.
- Grow through real scale: We run real-time surveys for millions of responses, with instant syncing, reliable global delivery, and dashboards that need to stay fast and clear.
- Learn from complexity: We maintain 50+ integrations. Every new one teaches you something about data flow, failure modes, and resilience.
- Think in data: Help turn large datasets into fast, meaningful insights that drive decisions for our customers.
- Build for the future: We care about clean, scalable architecture so we can keep shipping quickly without painting ourselves into a corner.

🧩 What you’ll be doing
- Designing & building features end-to-end across our stack (React, Python/Django, Postgres, AWS)
- Working closely with product and design to balance simplicity, impact, and technical quality
- Reviewing code, sharing knowledge, and raising the bar with your teammates
- Improving dev experience: refactoring, better tooling, nicer CI/CD, and fewer papercuts
- Shipping small, frequent improvements that make our UX simpler and clearer
🌈 What we value in engineers
- Clear thinking and clear communication
- Ownership over the tasks and projects you commit to
- Autonomy with accountability – you don’t need hand-holding, but you keep the team in the loop
- Curiosity and continuous learning, with a bit of healthy weirdness 😄
- A genuine interest in building things that customers love to use
🛠 Our current toy box
• React • JavaScript • Python + Django Web APIs • PostgreSQL • Redis • AWS • OAuth • Webhooks • GitHub • Notion • Slack • Figma
This is not a strict checklist. Curiosity and learning speed matter more than ticking every box.

- 5+ years of experience building and shipping web applications
- Strong JavaScript and modern web fundamentals

- Comfortably maintain unit tests for both backend and frontend
- You’ve written optimized SQL and dealt with concurrent data writes in higher-traffic systems
- You understand testing, deployments, and CI/CD

Experience in SaaS or digital products is a big plus.
🎁 Benefits & perks
- 13th-month bonus
