The role
Are you an experienced clinical leader with a strong background in aged care or community health and a passion for improving service delivery at scale?
We are seeking a proven clinical operations leader to lead clinical services across our East Coast aged care operations. This is a senior leadership role focused on clinical oversight, governance and performance.
The key will be to provide strategic clinical leadership, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care aligned to our Best Care framework. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Care Governance and Risk, and operational leaders to drive clinical excellence, manage risk and support the ongoing development of our clinical service model.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a complex environment, is confident leading large, dispersed teams, and can bring both clinical expertise and commercial awareness to strategic decision-making.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Lead clinical services across aged care operations, ensuring high-quality, safe and consistent service delivery
- Build, lead and support a high-performing clinical workforce across multiple regions
- Oversee clinical governance, risk management and compliance with legislative and accreditation standards
- Manage escalations, risk and complex client needs with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Drive workforce planning, capability development and workforce performance outcomes
- Monitor clinical service performance, including activity, financial outcomes and key metrics
- Support the development and implementation of models of care, clinical policies and procedures
- Contribute to organisational strategy, business improvement initiatives and service growth
- Partner with internal stakeholders to embed the Best Care framework across service delivery
What we’re looking for
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Significant senior clinical leadership experience, ideally within aged care or community health
- Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed clinical teams
- Strong experience in clinical governance, quality and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational performance, budgets and service delivery outcomes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at executive level
- Proven ability to lead change and operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment
