Silver Screen Beat is seeking a talented, knowledgeable entertainment writer to contribute long-lead features and reported pieces covering all things movies and television. Writers should have strong news judgment and the ability to turn around quick, clean copy on a bi-weekly basis. This is a paid-per-post contract position. 

• Wealth of knowledge of all things movies, television, and pop culture. 
• Strong passion for writing well-researched, long-lead pieces. 
• Has at least 1 year of prior reporting/writing experience. 
• Ability to work from a remote location. 
• Experience with Wordpress, Photoshop, and GSuite are a huge plus. 

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. This is a remote position, though living in New York, Los Angeles, or Phoenix will open you to other opportunities such as screenings, interviews, etc.
