Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive medical assessment and emergency care for patients presenting to the Emergency Department, including initial assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and management in accordance with hospital standards and patient safety requirements.
  • Perform emergency medical procedures and interventions according to the patient’s clinical condition, including resuscitation and management of life-threatening conditions, while ensuring timely and appropriate medical treatment.
  • Monitor patients’ clinical conditions, treatment responses, and changes in vital signs, and determine appropriate follow-up, referral, admission, or discharge in coordination with the attending physician and multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals in managing emergency patients, while providing clear information and education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation, comply with infection prevention, patient safety, and emergency service protocols, and participate in quality improvement initiatives, mandatory training, and competency development programs.

 

 

Qualifications

• Minimum Medical Doctor Degree (dr.) from an accredited medical school

• Must hold an active Medical Registration Certificate (STR)

• Have minimum 1 year of work experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in Emergency Department or hospital setting

• Completed Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training

• Preferred: Experienced and certified General Practitioners in Emergency Department, Emergency Medicine, ICU, or other acute care services
