Job Description
We're looking for a dedicated and empathetic Occupational Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team in Tangerang, Indonesia. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive occupational health programs that prioritize employee well-being while ensuring full compliance with Indonesian health and safety regulations. You will work collaboratively with management, employees, and safety teams to create a safe, healthy, and inclusive workplace environment. Your analytical expertise, combined with your commitment to preventive medicine, will directly impact the health and productivity of our workforce.
- Conduct thorough occupational health assessments, risk assessments, and workplace hazard identification to proactively address potential health threats
- Perform comprehensive health screenings, medical surveillance, and fitness-for-work evaluations while maintaining accurate and organized health records
- Develop, implement, and evaluate workplace health promotion and wellness programs that foster employee engagement and well-being
- Ensure strict compliance with Indonesian occupational health, safety, and labor regulations through transparent communication and detailed documentation
- Assess workplace ergonomics and recommend evidence-based improvements to reduce workplace injuries and enhance employee comfort
- Analyze occupational health data and prepare detailed, insightful reports for management to support informed decision-making
- Deliver engaging health and safety training sessions and support employee onboarding to establish a strong safety culture
- Investigate workplace health incidents thoroughly, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain and update occupational health policies while collaborating with stakeholders to promote a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment
- Provide compassionate medical guidance and support to employees regarding occupational health concerns and treatment options
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree with a Specialist Degree in Occupational Medicine (Sp.Ok.)
- Valid Indonesian Medical Registration Certificate (STR) and current Practice License (SIP)
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in occupational health, corporate healthcare, or related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian occupational health regulations, labor laws, and workplace health standards
- Demonstrated experience in occupational health assessments, medical surveillance, fitness-for-work evaluations, and workplace health promotion programs
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills with the ability to communicate complex health information clearly and effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities efficiently
