Job Description
- Develop comprehensive job descriptions for nursing roles.
- Provide direct patient care by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient care and safety.
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay updated with the latest nursing practices and advancements in healthcare.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Promote a positive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited university or college
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and patient care standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare technology
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Willingness to work in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
- Experience in a specialized area of nursing, such as critical care, emergency, or pediatrics (preferred)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (preferred)
