Job Description

Summary of Position:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and team supervision. This role supports company goals by maintaining a well-organized warehouse and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise inventory integrity through regular audits and cycle counts.
  •  Ensure accurate product identification, storage, and traceability.
  •  Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain minimum stock levels.
  •  Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.
  •  Schedule shipments according to established procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
  •  Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
  •  Assign tasks and monitor staff performance.
  •  Promote a safe and productive work environment.
  •  Utilize ERP systems for accurate inventory tracking and order management.
  •  Collaborate with relevant departments to update system records.
  •  Maintain adherence to quality control procedures and safety regulations.
  •  Support the Quality team in tracking and managing non-conforming products.

Qualifications

  •  Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and processes.
  •  Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  •  Ability to work cross-functionally and lead a team effectively.
  •  Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Education and Experience:

  •  Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations.
  •  Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Navision, or similar).
  •  Forklift certification and logistics experience preferred.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
