We are looking for a motivated and dedicated team member to join our team as soon as possible. With offices in both Romanshorn (TG) and Widen (AG), we offer flexibility regarding the primary work location.
Job Description
- Evaluation and development of potential, new, and existing suppliers in the injection molding sector
- Analyze supplier data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and strategies for risk migration
- Coordination of internal and customer audits at supplier sites
- Responsibility for supplier complaint management
- Work closely with the procurement and the engineering team to assess and qualify new suppliers
- Support for the development and improvement of injection molding materials
- Responsible for overseeing and improving management systems and ensuring quality performance
- Visiting suppliers, involving 30% to 50% travel
Qualifications
- Degree in chemistry or a related chemical field or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience and knowledge in quality management within the automotive industry and with the VDA 6.3 standard.
- Familiarity with Automotive Core Tools would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills (internal/external)
- A team player with the ability to assert oneself when necessary
- Fluent in German and English, French or other languages would be an advantage
