Qualifications

Education and Experience:
•    Master’s degree (Bac + 5) in Engineering.
•    At least 8 years of experience in operational project management, ideally in an industrial setting.
•    Supplemented by 5 years of experience in oversight, including performance evaluation, supervision, and management of others’ activities.

Professional Skills and Abilities:
•    Knowledge and practical experience of operational principles, including, but not limited to, expertise in project management,
•    Strong multicultural and interpersonal skills: good verbal and written communication skills (active listening, communication techniques, good manners, self-control, confidence),
•    Sense of responsibility; reliable,
•    Ability to analyze problems and develop innovative solutions to address complex issues,
•    Ability to drive change initiatives effectively and efficiently,
•    Fluency in English.

Informations complémentaires

Is accountable for managing industrial projects and implementing the Operational Group’s strategy in the designated region.
•    Manage all plant operations to stay within the projected budget
•    Establish the management system and ensure its effectiveness and periodic improvement
•    Communicate the importance of regulatory compliance, customer requirements, and risk prevention
•    Manage corrective and preventive maintenance processes and optimize overall costs
•    Ensure and adapt the organizational structure in line with the plant’s objectives
•    Manage and coordinate human and material resources to ensure the performance of plant equipment and compliance with all safety regulations.
•    Lead and steer continuous improvement initiatives,
•    Oversee daily warehouse operations, including sales, purchasing, inventory, and safety,
•    Train teams and ensure operational mastery of the process
•    Participate in audits, analyze results, and implement corrective actions
•    Promote a process-oriented approach, risk-based thinking, and a safety culture
•    Ensure the performance of materials production sites (concrete, cement, aggregates, precast products, etc.), the optimization of logistics flows, product quality, team safety, and compliance with economic, environmental, and regulatory objectives.

•    Helps provide the information, analysis, advice, and recommendations deemed necessary to improve operational management,
•    Carries out projects related to the Group’s manufacturing operations,
•    Analyzes system results through management reviews and validates improvement actions,
•    Carries out specific tasks, assignments, or projects for the Group.
•    KPIs:
-    Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE/ TRS).
-    Production cost per metric ton / per cubic meter.
-    Scrap/non-conformance rate.
-    On-time delivery rate.
-    Workplace accident frequency and severity rates.

-    Energy Efficiency and Carbon Emissions

INTERNAL AND/OR EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
Internally, works closely with all Sika Manufacturing departments, Functional Directors, Industrial Directors, and Plant Managers.
Externally, the role interacts with maintenance service providers, Purchasing, etc.

AUTHORITY
Authorized to draft procedures and operating guidelines for various matters related to maintenance and production, in accordance with Group policies.
Stop Authority: Exercise the right to raise an alarm and withdraw from work in the event of serious danger, and report any observed OHS non-compliance
Approval of policy, objectives, and resources
Prioritization in the event of an emergency or high-risk situations
Knowledge of OHS rules for working on machinery
Comply with and apply QHSE procedures and instructions
Knowledge of OHS regulations applicable to external contractors
Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
Knowledge of OHS regulations applicable to the transport of chemicals and hazardous materials
Make decisions in the event of major risks or critical non-conformities
Knowledge of OHS regulations applicable to the labeling of chemicals
