Job Description

(D SHIFT; means, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (THURS-SAT) with an alternate (WED-SAT)

Responsible for maintaining Quality initiatives in the Grandview Plant. Primarily responsible for Quality support and coordination as well as implementation of quality programs and systems within all the plant departments.

Work under direct supervision, performing routine but somewhat varied duties in accordance to Standard procedures. Work may require limited independent judgement and knowledge of related operations.

Qualifications

  • Audit production on daily basis and report findings via email.
  • Assist with the priorities and logistics for internal and external sorts at the Grandview plant.
  • Assist quality engineers on new projects and or miscellaneous request regarding quality.
  • Assist clarifying the production operators any questions they may have regarding the quality expectations of the parts running.
  • Take pictures for electronic file history on part boundary samples.
  • Ensure all Quality Alerts are displayed on the part folders as received.
  •  Transfer secondary sort data into the database for further analysis
  • Perform Layered Process Audits in all the departments
  • Coordinate with the production team secondary sorts of priorities

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum 1years experience in quality control and manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Doc
  •  Injection molding part and process knowledge is a plus.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of Quality Systems with ability to lead and audit
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with multi-discipline people in the plant, engineering, operators, supervisors, laboratory techs, managers.
