Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Technician to join our Roofing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice & training to our customers, helping them to ensure that Sika roofing systems are installed in accordance with specification
- Carry out site inspections ensuring that the system is being installed in accordance with the specification and technical manual by appropriate trained operatives.
- Offer advice and assistance relating to installation on site
- Carry out on site testing as required using industry standard equipment
- Provide training to ensure operatives have the required skills and knowledge to enable them to install Sika Roofing Systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction related technical/specification sales role preferred
- Previous experience of or technical advice for flat roofing systems will be an advantage
- Experience of conducting building site inspections/surveys and liaising with Contractors and Designers will be advantageous
- Ability to understand key building regulations and construction details relating to roofing systems will be highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
