Job Description

Key tasks & responsibilities

  • Process customer invoices, credit notes, receipts, and customer account transactions accurately and on time.
  • Follow up customer collections, monitor overdue balances, and coordinate with Sales teams to support timely payment collection.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate differences between customer statements, SAP records, and supporting documents.
  • Monitor customer credit limits, blocked orders, overdue exposure, and collection risks, and escalate issues to the Finance Supervisor.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation are properly recorded.
  • Review and reconcile fixed asset balances, depreciation schedules, CIP, and capital expenditure records on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate periodic physical verification of fixed assets and investigate any discrepancies with relevant departments.
  • Prepare month-end closing schedules related to AR, fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Support tax filings, audit requests, and documentation related to receivables and fixed assets.
  • Ensure compliance with Sika internal controls, approval matrix, SOD, and the four-eyes principle, and raise process improvement suggestions.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Comply with Sika Minimum EHS Requirements
  • Follow approved safe operating procedures, risk assessments, and control measures relevant to the job, where applicable.
  • Properly handle, store, label, and dispose of chemicals and wastes in accordance with established procedures, where applicable.
  • Correctly use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment at all times, where applicable.
  • Immediately report hazards, unsafe acts, near misses, incidents, spills, and any environmental impacts.
  • Participate in required EHS trainings, safety meetings, audits, and emergency drills.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work areas to prevent safety, health, fire, and environmental risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Fresh Graduate or 1 year experience
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP experience preferred.
