Job Description

The Project Business Development (Chinese Customer) is responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities from Chinese-invested industrial manufacturing projects in Thailand. The role focuses on driving sales growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding Sika's presence within the Chinese investment sector.

This position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders, including project owners, main contractors, and applicators. The successful candidate will actively identify project opportunities, promote Sika products and solutions, and convert opportunities into sales. Due to the fast-moving nature of Chinese investment projects, the role requires strong customer engagement, quick responsiveness, and effective project follow-up.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities from Chinese-invested industrial manufacturing projects.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets through effective sales and business development activities.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with project owners, main contractors, and applicators.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable Sika products and system solutions.
  • Promote Sika products and solutions to secure project opportunities at an early stage.
  • Manage and follow up project opportunities from initial identification through order achievement.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and commercial solutions to customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support project development and successful execution.
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Prepare regular sales activity reports, project updates, and sales forecasts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and Chinese investment developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to sustainable sales growth and strengthen Sika's market presence within the Chinese industrial manufacturing segment

Qualifications

Education

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration and/or Engineering

Experience

  • Min 5 years’ experience within building material ,construction/real estate industry
  • Project experience with Chinese owner/Main Contractor /Applicator /Consultants /Architect /Trader

Competencies & Skills

  • Must be good in Chinese and Thai (Able to communicate in English is an Advantage)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
