Job Description

Our largest service line SAP with over 100 employees is expanding and continuing the world-wide SAP rollouts. We are growing with our SAP framework and are taking off on our digital journey to use the newest S/4 HANA features to optimize and enhance our global template.

To set the foundation and ensure Sika’s success on our digital journey, we are looking in Zürich for a professional and highly technical Senior Consultant/Solution Architect SAP Order-to-Cash

In this challenging role, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly innovative environment that will together with external partners perform rollouts in record time. Your goal and one of your main tasks will be to lead projects, project teams and deliver solutions based on our global template.

  • Working in the role as a Senior Consultant Solution Architect for our major SAP Order-to-Cash areas Order Fulfillment, Outbound Logistics, Price Management and e-commerce / sales enablement 
  • Design solutions supporting the Sika business teams on a global and template-oriented basis 
  • Work with the latest technologies based on our S/4 HANA system in a global team (with integration to non-SAP applications, cloud-based technologies including Salesforce)
  • Provide and manage application support activities such as investigating and resolving incidents and change requests to meet both legal and new local business requirements 
  • Integration of SD/LE with GTS, EWM, WM and MM 
  • Experience on inter/intra company processes
  • Contribute and manage harmonization initiatives, safeguard Sika’s SAP global template solutions and adjust according to Sika’s best practices – following our governance procedures
  • Implement SAP solutions using defined methodologies (i.e., for data migration, training, testing and go-live) 
  • Lead and support template roll-outs (design, tests and implementation) as well as carrying out complex projects as part of the global SAP team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Business Studies or equivalent experience 
  • At least 5 – 7 years experience in configuring or implementing Order to Cash solution and Logistics Execution
  • Project experience from 3+ successful SAP projects in the role of project manager/ functional lead or functional consultant 
  • Proactive and structured person, who is used to drive initiatives from the beginning to the end
  • Strong knowledge integrating SAP Order-to-Cash (SD/LE) with other SAP modules such as EWM/WM, MM, FI and familiarity with end-to-end thinking 
  • Debugging skills in ABAP and experience in EDI and IDOC interface for sales orders processing transactions 
  • Strong communication skills with experience working in virtual teams and feels comfortable communicating with stakeholders and colleagues of all hierarchy levels
  • Readiness to travel (20% travel requirements) in case needed for the projects
  • Business fluent in English both written and verbal, German is a big advantage
