Job Description

1. Maintenance & Equipment Reliability

  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for:
    • Mortar mixing & batching systems
    • Liquid production and dosing systems
    • Automatic filling machines
  • Ensure minimum production downtime and fast troubleshooting
  • Monitor equipment performance and improve reliability

 

2. Engineering Support

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to production and QC teams
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC issues
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain technical documentation (SOPs, machine manuals, drawings)

 

3. Facility & Utility Management

  • Oversee maintenance of:
    • Factory building and infrastructure
    • Office building
    • Utilities (air compressor, water, electrical systems, etc.)
  • Ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and safely

4. Team Supervision

  • Supervise maintenance technicians and external contractors
  • Assign daily tasks and control work quality
  • Provide hands-on coaching and training
  • Ensure discipline, safety, and performance standards

 

5. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance work follows Health, Safety and Environmental Standards
  • Enforce safe work practices (LOTO, PPE, etc.)
  • Support audits and corrective actions
  • Maintain a zero-accident mindset

 

6. Spare Parts & Cost Control

  • Manage spare parts inventory
  • Ensure critical spare parts availability for production lines
  • Control maintenance costs within budget
  • Coordinate purchasing of parts and services

 

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to:
    • Reduce downtime
    • Improve equipment efficiency
    • Extend machine lifespan
  • Support 5S, Lean, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives

 

8. Reporting

  • Maintain maintenance logs and equipment history
  • Provide monthly maintenance reports including:
    • Downtime
    • Root causes
    • Actions taken
  • Track key KPIs

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechatronics

Experience

  • 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance
  • Experience in:
    • Mixing systems (powder/liquid)
    • Production or filling equipment
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Mechanical systems (motors, pumps, conveyors)
    • Electrical systems (basic troubleshooting)
    • Filling machines (semi-auto/auto)
  • Basic PLC knowledge is an advantage

Leadership Skills

  • Team supervision
  • Task planning and prioritization
  • Good communication with production and management

  • Responsible and proactive
