Meanwhile, Sika leads the field in total bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection solutions for bus, truck and rail vehicle manufacturing, and for the assembly of appliances, industrial equipment and building components.
Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd currently employs more than 400 people in Sales & Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, HR & Administration, Laboratory, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehouse.
Job Description
- Support and monitor MRP and forecast updates in the planning system.
- Participate in monthly Demand Review Meetings and support sales forecast planning with Sales and Target Market teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and product availability to support sales demand and working capital targets.
- Follow up on replenishment activities, Purchase Orders, and supplier deliveries to ensure timely supply.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and other internal teams on planning and supply related matters.
- Support order management and planning activities for Inter Company and 3rd Party products.
- Identify slow moving items and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for follow up actions.
- Ensure planning activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years working experience in planning / manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics Axapta.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of operational KPIs and their impact on overall business performance.
