Job Description

Planning, coordination and realization of investment and development projects in the field of adhesive and sealant production within the global Sika manufacturing network. Ensuring the retention and further development of know-how in adhesives and sealants production within the organization in the coming years. Sharing know-how and global standards across the organization. This Is a global role requiring close collaboration with the local production units as well as regional organizations.

  • Deepening theoretical and practical expertise in adhesives and sealants production
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with local and regional organizations
  • Contributing to increasingly complex international projects in accordance with project management standards and PCP guidelines
  • Leading, Coordinating overseeing projects, which may run in parallel. Participate as team member or taking a leading role within workstreams of large and complex projects under senior project leadership                     
  • Applying and introducing energy recovery methodologies in adhesives and sealants production facilities

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering (ETH)
  • Preferably knowledge of adhesives and sealants manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of energy systems and application of energy recovery methods
  • Project management experience
  • Hands-on attitude
  • International work experience
  • Good command of English; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel (20–40%) – Project related
