Job Description

The Industry Sales Lead position is open to candidates based in Da Nang, or Hanoi. The role is responsible for driving nationwide sales performance within the A&I segment while leading and developing a team of 4–5 sales professionals. The role develops and executes the commercial strategy to grow market share, build strategic customer relationships, and deliver sustainable profitability – while ensuring full alignment with Sika’s business objectives, values, and EHS standards.

  • Sales Strategy & Business Development: Own and execute the nationwide A&I sales strategy to deliver revenue and margin targets. Convert new business opportunities, deepen key account relationships, and lead specification initiatives to embed Sika solutions into project pipelines.
  • Technical Support & Customer Solutions: Direct the team in pre- and post-sales technical support - product recommendations, application training, and solution presentations. Ensure timely issue resolution and position Sika's value proposition effectively against competitors.
  • Commercial Management & Reporting: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximise profitability. Track pipeline, forecast accuracy, and KPIs against targets. Oversee payment collections, manage credit risk with Finance, and report regularly to the Head of A&I Vietnam.
  • Market Intelligence & Cross-functional Collaboration: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive commercial decisions and product priorities. Execute go-to-market plans for product launches and collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations. Carry out additional duties as assigned.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and grow a team of 4–5 Sales Engineers nationwide. Set targets, drive performance reviews, and build a high-performance, customer-centric culture. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
  • Compliance & EHS: Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, Sika regulations, and EHS requirements. Uphold workplace safety and hygiene standards per the Labor Contract or collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in construction chemicals, building materials, or related industrial sectors. At least 2–3 years in a team leadership or senior sales role with direct reports. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts on a regional or national scale.
  • Skills: Strong commercial mindset with ability to identify opportunities and close deals. Excellent leadership and people management skills; able to motivate and develop a diverse team. Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into clear team actions. Sound technical aptitude – comfortable understanding and communicating construction or industrial product solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Vietnamese; working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Vietnam.
