Job Description

**Job Responsibilities:**

We are seeking dynamic and results driven Forklift Driver to join our Insulation Greer team.

  • Operate forklift safely and perform daily equipment checks; exchange propane tanks as required
  • Manage material movement within warehouse, from production line to storage, and vice versa using proper documentation and FIFO inventory methods
  • Conduct inventory management including cycle counts, yearend inventory, and bundle tracking with accurate documentation
  • Inspect finished goods for proper labels, packaging, and quality; communicate quality and equipment issues to appropriate managers
  • Maintain warehouse organization including work areas, equipment, over-run locations, and refuse management (dumpster transfers and emptying)
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of finished goods and raw materials
  • Support production line operations during startups, shutdowns, lunches, and offline work as needed
  • Provide packaging supplies and materials (bins, stretch wrap, etc.) to production areas
  • Assist Chemical mix department with tote changes and storage
  • Follow and implement all safety protocols and participate in warehouse procedure reviews
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

**Qualifications:**

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
  • 4-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of PC systems and applications; SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as necessary
