Job Description
Sika is looking for an experienced Facilities Associate to join its growing team in the Canton area for our Roofing Business.
The Facilities Associate at Sika will play a key role in maintaining proper operations of our facilities and building systems. Responsibilities will also include preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of building problems, and other duties as listed below. This position reports to the Facilities Coordinator.
- Perform preventive maintenance for our facilities and on building systems
- Troubleshoot HV/AC, water systems, air compressors, sprinkler and fire suppression systems
- Oversee, as directed, office expansion and/or office relocation set-ups
- Provide operational support to production department to ensure efficient operations
- Data entry to preventive maintenance program
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health and safety procedures and other regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3 years minimum “hands on” maintenance experience
- Experience with Facilities Maintenance practices and procedures
- Familiar with environmental, health and safety regulations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to crouch and kneel on job sites as required
