About Sika Operations – Wishaw Render Site
Be part of an engineering team covering all engineering activities on site. Ensuring high level of safety management are maintained and adherence to the relevant standards and codes of practice.
Purpose of the Role
To maintain a strong maintenance team, we have the position of recruiting an Engineer, who is willing to be part of our engineering team. Where they can show case their skills, experience and develop “In-House” with our team, develop & challenge themselves on our current manufacturing processes. Gain sufficient knowledge & competence of the equipment on site. Ensuring all equipment and machinery is operating at maximum efficiency, through conductive effective machinery servicing. Maintaining machinery through our PPM process.

Qualifications
What we need from you?
Electrical Biased:
- HNC Electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent/higher)
- BS7671 IEE wiring regulations 18th edition – Desired.
- Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, testing and certification - Desired
- Basic PLC knowledge and fault finding.
- Working knowledge of Machine Safety Directives, EAWR 1989 and PUWER
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Mechanical Biased:
- Level 7 - Maintenance Engineering / Engineering Systems (or equivalent/higher)
- Working knowledge of Machine Safety Directives, EAWR 1989 and PUWER
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
