Job Description
The position delivers technical expertise and on-site support to customers and internal teams, ensuring the effective application of Sika concrete solutions while enhancing product performance, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution. Additionally, the role coordinates closely with customers, Sales, and Technical Service teams on concreting schedules, plant and laboratory trials, and the management of on-site customer complaints.
Product Training & Customer Support
- Train customers and Sika Vietnam staff on the proper application, use, and best practices for Sika concrete products
- Provide technical guidance and on-site support to Sales Staff and Technicians on product-related matters in the field
- Deliver comprehensive technical assistance to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction
Field Trials & Testing Coordination
- Coordinate and conduct plant trials and laboratory trials at customer sites to validate product performance and suitability
- Conduct on-site concrete testing and quality assessments to verify compliance with project specifications and Sika product standards
Issue Investigation & Problem Resolution
- Support Sales teams in investigating concrete-related issues and complaints by conducting root cause analysis at customer sites
- Identify technical problems, inconsistencies, or performance concerns and recommend effective corrective actions
- Troubleshoot application and performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction and product integrity
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records and prepare comprehensive technical reports on all field activities, trials, and investigations
- Organize and manage technical documentation, including test results, trial reports, and customer correspondence
Equipment Management
- Maintain responsibility for all equipment and tools belonging to the Technical department
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and safe handling of testing and field equipment
Confidentiality & Compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all company business information, technical documentation, and proprietary data
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Concrete Technical Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Material or equivalent
- At least 3-year experience in the field of QA/QC in Civil construction or similar field
- Good knowledge of concrete testing and construction materials
- Conversant (especially good reading) in both English and Vietnamese.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office.
- Hard-working, reliable, working under pressure, organization skills, good communication skills.
