Broad Functions and Purpose of Position:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth in the Automotive and Industry business segments. The role involves market intelligence, product positioning, technical marketing, lead generation, and supporting the sales team with effective marketing tools and campaigns.

The incumbent will work closely with National Business Managers, Sales, Product Management, and channel partners to strengthen brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and support business expansion in domestic and international markets.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Marketing & Market Development

 

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies for Automotive OEM, Tier suppliers, and Industrial segments.
    • Identify new market opportunities, applications, and customer segments.
    • Conduct market sizing, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
    • Support management in annual marketing plans and growth strategy.

 

  1. Product & Pricing Strategy

 

    • Define product positioning and value proposition for automotive and industrial products.
    • Coordinate with R&D, product management, and technical teams for product launches.
    • Develop technical marketing materials including product brochures, presentations, application guides, BDPs etc.
    • Support pricing strategy through competitive benchmarking, margin analysis, and pricing model optimization.

 

  1. Channel & Distribution Management

 

    • Develop and strengthen distribution networks and channel partner coverage to expand market reach
    • Identify white spots and recommend new distributors appointment in key growth regions.
    • Monitor channel performance, market coverage, and inventory availability to ensure effective distribution.
    • Design and manage channel partner incentive programs including volume, growth, and target-based schemes.
    • Develop and implement distributor pricing structures aligned with market strategy.
    • Support distributors through product training, marketing tools, and promotional initiatives.
    • Organize distributor meets, partner conferences, and recognition programs, while ensuring scheme governance and ROI tracking.

 

  1. Marketing Campaigns & Promotion

 

    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns including trade exhibitions, seminars, workshops, webinars, and digital marketing.
    • Manage brand communication across website, LinkedIn, digital platforms, and industry publications.
    • Develop promotional initiatives to support product launches and channel engagement.

 

  1. Sales Enablement & Lead Generation

 

    • Provide marketing support through to sales team through sales presentations, kits, and technical tools.
    • Train sales teams on product positioning and competitive advantages.
    • Drive B2B lead generation through exhibitions, seminars, digital campaigns, and webinars.
    • Manage marketing automation and lead tracking.
    • Track inside sales leads and collaborate with sales teams to convert opportunities into business.

 

  1. Customer Insights & Marketing Analytics

 

    • Gather voice-of-customer insights through field visits and customer interactions.
    • Track industry trends, regulations, and technology developments.
    • Monitor marketing performance metrics such as lead generation, campaign ROI, market share, and engagement, and prepare periodic management reports.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management.

 

  1. Brand Building & Communication

 

    • Strengthen brand visibility and positioning in automotive and industrial business segments.
    • Manage company presence at trade fairs, Exhibitions, industry associations, and technical conferences.
    • Oversee digital communication and brand promotion including website content and LinkedIn campaigns.

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications/Experience/Education:

Education:

  • MBA in Marketing / Business Management
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical / Chemical / Automotive preferred)

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of experience in B2B marketing
  • Experience in automotive, industrial products, chemicals, lubricants, components, or technical solutions
  • Exposure to OEM and industrial customer ecosystems
