Job Description
In this hybrid role, you will support both the Building Finishing and Roofing divisions, acting as a technical advisor and sales partner to customers across multiple product lines.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Engage with key clients—including contractors, distributors, architects, and roofing professionals—to recommend the best solutions from our full portfolio of building finishing and roofing products.
- Provide technical expertise on product applications, including masonry systems, self‑leveling solutions, caulking, ceramics, paints, and roofing systems.
- Perform specification work, ensuring Sika products are written into project documents for major construction and roofing projects.
- Promote Sika’s technical capabilities in both markets, positioning our Building Finishing and Sika Sarnafil roofing technologies as industry-leading solutions.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and Marketing to help introduce new products and communicate customer needs or market insights.
- Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure accurate, timely delivery of orders and support seamless job‑site logistics.
- Support customers with product issues, troubleshooting concerns quickly and providing effective, solutions‑driven service.
- Drive sales growth by building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and proactively identifying opportunities across both divisions.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- University or College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–3 years of field sales experience in the construction industry, ideally with exposure to roofing, building finishing, or related commercial construction products.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles (customer service and/or sales), either in person or over the phone.
Industry Knowledge
- Experience selling to developers, contractors, architects, and distributors.
- Proven relationships with key decision makers in the construction sector, especially within Western Canada.
- Familiarity with roofing systems, building finishing products (masonry, EIFS, mineral paints), or related construction materials is considered an asset.
Skills & Abilities

- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships based on trust, professionalism, and technical expertise.

- Tech‑savvy with strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and mobile tools.
