Job Description
- Actively identify, target and secure Sika product specifications on key new and remedial projects nationally.
- Proactively engage with Tier 1-3 designers, Architects, Engineers, Designers including Asset owners to influence specifications across Sika’s full product portfolio.
- Provide technical advice, specifications and system proposals to key specifiers, designers and Asset owners.
- Deliver professional presentations (CPD) on Sika products and solutions to key consultants.
- Manage and update project specifications and opportunities in the Salesforce CRM system.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive customer database securing repeat specification and long-term relationships.
- Regional, Interstate and international travel may be required with overnight stays.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, technical Sales and Key project team to convert into sales.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Business with experience in technical specifications in the building/construction industry.
- Strong technical knowledge in concrete, waterproofing, roofing membranes, concrete repair, flooring and tiling.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach and commercial acumen.
- Knowledge of the NCC including relevant waterproofing, tiling codes and Standards.
- Experience in the Remedial Building industry dealing with Strata Engineers and Consultants.
