Job Description
Main Tasks
- Execute procurement strategy and cost development targets.
- Supply assurance by regular risk evaluation, mitigation plans and supplier evaluation.
- Management of Direct and Indirect spend.
- Support Sustainability strategies and targets through suppliers.
- Supplier Management and enlargement of supplier list.
- Negotiate prices and conditions.
- Implement and keep updates on procurement manual.
- Accountable for all procurement data accuracy.
- Coordinate issues or requirements with regional Team.
- Execute regional Sourcing strategy.
- Identify and execute saving projects.
- Meet saving target and perform Forecast and Budget activities.
- Perform reporting activities.
- Represent procurement in the Local Experts Team (LET).
Responsibility / power of authority
- Be an active Member of the Board.
- Respect authority according to Manual of Authority (MoA).
- Have budget responsibility.
- Ensure full compliance with local laws and Sika rules.
- Treat Health & Safety as a priority and be a role model at all times.
- Ensure full support for (M&A) integration purposes.
- Procurement strategy for Sika Poland.
- Procurement budget for direct spends and indirect spends (OPEX and CAPEX) in collaboration with all departments.
- Efficiency and innovative initiatives.
- Sustainable solutions.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Engineering Management.
Work experience / expertise
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing in industrial companies.
Additional skills / competencies
- SAP and ERP Systems knowledge
- Polish and English: fluent (speaking/writing)
