Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Taguig, Philippines. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various equipment and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on building equipment, including HVAC systems and production machinery
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed
- Monitor gauges, recording instruments, and flow meters to ensure specified conditions are maintained
- Observe work areas to detect leaks, equipment malfunctions, or other operational issues
- Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program, updating software and records daily
- Perform daily checks on production scales, forklifts, and other essential equipment
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager to report and address equipment repair needs
- Adhere to and enforce safety precautions to prevent fires, explosions, or other hazards
- Support other areas of the facility as directed by the Plant Operations Manager
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including customers and vendors, as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma or equivalent(required)
- Technical certificates in relevant fields (preferred)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and various types of machinery
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and software updates
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Commitment to safety procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
