Responsibilities

• Organize and manage CAPEX & OPEX tenders (e.g., civil works, M&E, machinery/equipment, spare parts, services) in line with timelines and procedures.
• Review and assess the suitability and completeness of user-submitted Scopes of Work (SOW) and technical specifications.
• Evaluate and ensure contractor/vendor deliverables meet required specifications, particularly in civil, M&E, machinery, fabrication, and repair/maintenance projects.
• Coordinate and lead meetings with suppliers to align on requirements and expectations.
• Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support decision-making.
• Drive vendor development initiatives, including evaluation, audits, and site visits.
• Organize and consolidate order items across all sites/plants for efficiency.
• Create, categorize, and maintain indirect vendor classifications.
• Develop, maintain, and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
• Actively contribute to achieving individual and departmental KPIs.

Requirements

Education & Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of procurement experience, including at least 2–3 years specializing in indirect procurement of CAPEX (e.g., equipment, machinery, plant expansion projects, construction, MEP, facilities, and related services) and OPEX (e.g., maintenance, utilities, spare parts, and general services).
• Proven track record in relevant industries (manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, automotive, or similar), with hands-on experience managing end-to-end CAPEX and OPEX procurement across multiple sites.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of Capex and Opex procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Familiarity with contract law, compliance standards, and procurement policies in a multinational or multi-plant environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
• Solid understanding of project management principles (PMP certification is an advantage).
• Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with global suppliers, stakeholders, and senior management.
