Job Description
- Manage production teams, ensuring efficient delivery of finished goods in accordance with demand and production plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements whilst maintaining high-quality standards.
- Oversee plant and equipment operation, including maintenance, repairs, and safety preparations for external servicing.
- Manage inventory, including raw material weighing, FIFO picking, and accurate record-keeping.
- Supervise product labelling, packaging, and quality control processes, including sample collection and yield calculations.
- Engage and organise contractors for specialist services and breakdown situations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in safety, health, environment, quality, and productivity.
- Perform additional duties as required by the Factory and Warehouse Supervisor, maintaining exemplary housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management with a strong WH&S focus
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with teams
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Computer literacy and administrative competence
- Hands-on management approach, treating people with respect
