Job Description

  • Adhere to all Environmental Protection, Safety, Health, and Quality (ESHQ) policies.  Follow all quality standards and procedures, including ISO 9001:2015 and RCMS, as they apply to your job.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safety measures are in place.
  • Participate in safety audits, project reviews, and hazard assessments.
  • This position is to ensure proper maintenance within the facility and to ensure timely production of high-quality products in a cost efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible manner. 
  • The job requires technical and problem-solving skills.  Work activities include the repair and maintenance of the facility and its equipment.
  • Follow safety practices and contribute to improving company safety performance.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Working knowledge of single-phase and three-phase industrial electricity (certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in machine repair, arc welding, and using a cutting torch.
  • Basic understanding of PLC control systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform general labor tasks.
  • Capable of reading, counting, and maintaining accurate and legible paperwork.
  • Perform tasks to meet the expectations of the maintenance supervisor.
  • Ability to work independently and follow written instructions to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, cutting and burning equipment, welding equipment, and material handling equipment.
