Job Description
Accountable for achieving the sales and profitability goals of our Below Grade Product line through the generation of new business and further development of existing accounts. Provides direction and leadership to the field sales staff while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the regional geography. Will be responsible to develop a demand creation plan, calling on key stakeholders such as School Systems, Owners of private development, Architect Designers, GC’s to adopt Polyiso Below Grade over the historical XPS line.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Performing SWAT analysis of region, competitive review and strategic plan development.
- Developing target accounts for key territories that have Below Grade Growth in their grow plans. Target accounts are Installers of Below Grade rigid insulation, GC’s that make product decisions, designers that specify below grade insulation.
- Develop and maintain price list for this market segment. Act as product engineer to establish justifications for new thickness or product variations as required by the market.
- Work with LET to get new SKU’s justified if required.
- Develops and implements aggressive sales plans for a particular region - monitors progress toward meeting the plan’s requirements including the individual representative’s contribution.
- Increase sales volume by working with Regional and Territory Managers to keep a focus on Below Grade applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 5-7 years of prior sales management experience with demonstrated success in leading a group of sales people to goal achievement.
- Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
- Functional knowledge of CRM (Customer Resource Management) system for use to manage sales force activities, customer contacts and follow-up.
- Leadership Skills - demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills through team building and advanced coaching skills.
