Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Manager to join our team in Charlotte, United States. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for 

  • Recommend sales forecast, discount targets, budgeted expenditures, monitor deviations and initiate corrective actions to achieve sales and profit (C2) goals.
  • Implement operational company policies and strategies consistent with approved procedures in line with the achievement of company objectives.
  • Analyze and report business conditions within the district and recommend actions to immediate superior.
  • Select, develop, train and motivate Territory Sales personnel to maximize a productivity level, positive morale, and most effective utilization of individual and group potential.
  • Schedule and conduct regular business travel & performance evaluation of direct reports to achieve individual annual developmental goals.
  • Align sales territories to ensure optimum market deviation.
  • Establish and cultivate Key and New account relationships for further sales growth.
  • Direct efforts of sales group in achieving a highly visual position in product specifications.
  • Perform AD HOC duties and activities as directed by immediate superior.
  • Work with the team to develop quotations and presentations for new business. Provide analysis to show profitability of new account to justify any capital expenditure.
  • Ensure active participation of the BU in selected local trade organizations/associations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail or related industry management
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and driving business growth
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with retail management software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned district (up to 50% of the time)
