Job Description

We Are Hiring an Account Executive/Assistant (Two Months' Temporary) for Sika Singapore located at the West Region of Singapore, Tuas South.

The role is reporting to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the efficient and accurate conduct of operations of the finance department and to assist the Finance Manager with accurate, efficient and effective accounting system.

Roles and Responsibility

  1. To ensure that the monthly Accounts Receivables / Accounts Payable prepared are accurate and reliable.
  2. To ensure that the monthly reports are prepared and submitted a day before the deadline.
  3. To update the day-to-day AR/AP invoices and collection/payments in the accounting system.
  4. To keep AR/AP legers independently.
  5. To monitor and record the collection from our debtors efficiently (AR).
  6. To update and ensure the product costs are accurate and reliable (AP).
  7. To plan and organize own scope of works.
  8. To pass on relevant information or bring to the attention of your supervisor any event, occurrence of practice.
  9. To provide reports as and when required.
  10. To ensure communication between own and other departments are effective and that other departments are not placed at a disadvantage through lack of knowledge.
  11. To keep records, correspondence, and good filing to protect the company against any event that is detrimental to the company’s well-being.
  12. Ad-hoc assignment
     

Qualifications

LCCI Accountancy or its equivalent.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Ability to work with peers towards defined objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills - both through the verbal and written work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Essential:  At least 3 years in Accounting
