Job Purpose

1. Management one or more Categories (certain groupings of Direct and/or Indirect spend items) within a country

2. Development Category strategies and commercial tactics for assigned category 3. Management of suppliers and supplier relationships for the Categories

4. Identification and delivery saving initiatives for those costs associated with the items within the Categories

Main Function/Responsibilities

・Lead and drive one or more categories in Local to ensure the success of the category by the close communications with Regional Category Managers. o Security of supply o Optimal cost management o Effective supplier relationship management o Effective and efficient systems and processes o Continuous improvement in all of the above

・ Develop, document and communicate category strategies for all key materials/ suppliers

・ Liases with various internal / external stakeholders to ensure that business priorities are understood and category strategies to meet these priorities and agreed

・ Form part of the Regional / Global category team o Help to define and implement Region / Global category strategies at a local level o Provide local economic and market intelligence for the category teams

・ Identify and manage structural cost reduction / supply chain risk reduction projects to meet or exceed annual targets

・ Ensure compliance both of oneself and ones suppliers to those ethical standards defined by all applicable laws, Sika’s Procurement Manual and Sika Code of Conduct

・Maintain supplier relationships in local to deliver competitive values from suppliers

・Organize supplier audits together with internal stakeholders (e.g. QA/QC/EHS) ・Represent respective meetings with Regional Procurement Group

資格

・ Strong communication skills (verbal and written in English) with the ability to present concepts at functional and local executive levels

・ Strong Leadership Skill (Strategy development, Change management, Ability to manage conflict, engagement and collaboration with others)

・ Demonstrate team ability, team facilitation and team member participation, highly motivated and self-starter

・ Demonstrate broad understanding of supply chain management with relevant commodity management experience

・ Excellent Project management skills and Excellent business acumen

・ Technical background is preferred: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering ・ Global minded and experienced in working in a multicultural environment
