Job Description
The Manager, Project Management – Equipment leads North American equipment order fulfillment from order receipt through customer site acceptance, building a more disciplined and scalable project delivery model. This role sets project management standards, strengthens documentation discipline, manages selected high-impact projects, and leads project managers and customer service agents to deliver equipment on time and within budget.
This role is suited for a hands-on leader who can bring structure to a complex, cross-functional environment. The successful candidate will be expected to define process flows, create alignment across functions, and use data, process discipline, and follow-through to improve project execution.
Essential Functions
Establish, implement, and continuously improve standard project management processes for North American customer equipment orders, ensuring customer expectations are clear, decisions are documented, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Lead a team of five project managers and customer service agents, setting clear expectations for communication, documentation, project control, and customer follow-through.
Contribute customer priorities, project risk, and equipment-order visibility to the SIOP process, supporting engineering capacity, operational capacity, and facility-selection reviews, so delivery commitments are realistic, visible, and executable.
Drive readiness, execution, and closure of factory and site acceptance tests, ensuring open issues, punch-list items, customer decisions, and acceptance criteria are documented, owned, and resolved.
Lead project execution discipline for warehouse automation and ASRS projects, coordinating scope, schedule, risk, customer readiness, and cross-functional handoffs to support successful delivery as this business expands in North America.
Own ERP data quality for new equipment sales orders, ensuring order data is accurate, current, and updated promptly when scope, schedule, cost, or fulfillment assumptions change.
Develop and use KPIs to monitor project cost, timeline, quality, customer readiness, and decision-cycle performance; use the data to identify root causes, drive corrective action, and improve project delivery discipline over time.

3+ years of experience leading people, with demonstrated ability to coach, set expectations, and hold team members accountable.
Experience with automation, capital equipment, industrial products, or engineered-to-order environments preferred.
Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while using KPIs, project metrics, and root-cause analysis to balance customer priorities, internal constraints, and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to lead change across functions, influence without direct authority, and move teams from informal practices to consistent, measurable project execution.
Strong communication, urgency, and influencing skills; able to escalate issues constructively, make trade-offs visible, and align customers, sales, engineering, operations, service, and senior leaders around priorities, risks, decisions, and recovery plans.
