Job Description

Salary:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18.00 - $20.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Summary:

The HR Customer Service Intern will support the HR Shared Services team by providing assistance with employee inquiries, HR processes, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in HR operations and HR technology systems.


Essential Functions:

  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related topics in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate employee records in HRIS system.
  • Review and approve transactions submitted via business process workflows.
  • Review vendor invoices and prepare emails for management payment approval.
  • Support testing of upcoming software releases and implementation of new modules.
  • Help create and maintain knowledge base articles and FAQs for employee self-service.
  • Participate in special HR Shared Services projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, or related field.

Experience:

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems or willingness to learn.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
