Job Description
- Lead high-level DevOps activities, including infrastructure design, automation, and cloud solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and containerization
- Conduct technical audits and propose optimizations for existing infrastructures
- Assist with hotfixes and critical issue resolution across projects
- Participate in troubleshooting and improving system scalability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with sales teams on proposals for potential clients
- Take part in estimations, defining the scope and technical feasibility of projects
- Design and present business-oriented DevOps solutions to clients
- Contribute to service offering development, shaping innovative DevOps approaches
- Mentor and consult less experienced DevOps engineers and managers
- Organize and drive internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and best practice adoption
- Conduct technical interviews and evaluate candidates for DevOps roles
- Represent the company at industry conferences and tech events
- Contribute to whitepapers, blogs, and technical presentations
- Support and maintain partnerships with cloud providers and technology vendors
- Continuously improve DevOps processes across the company
- Ensure adherence to best practices in infrastructure as code, automation, and security compliance
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or Principal role
- Proven ability to design and implement DevOps strategies for large-scale systems
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards
- Ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English and Ukrainian (spoken and written)
