SIGFOX is the first and only operator of a cellular network fully dedicated to low-throughput communication for connected objects. With an extremely cost effective and very low energy consuming out-of-the-box connectivity offer, SIGFOX brings a revolution to the world of Internet of Things.

Sigfox deploys its network worldwide through distribution agreements with local partners (Sigfox Operator – SO), in charge of deploying and maintaining the network, and marketing and selling connectivity thanks to customer, channels and ecosystem development.  The relationship with each SO is managed by a Country Manager. Development of connectivity is mainly triggered by customers or channels of Sigfox Operators through their ability to implement IoT Solutions.

The increasing volume of data exchanged each day via the Sigfox network, leads us to develop many services around the data by using predictive algorithms of Machine Learning. This sector being expanding in Chex Sigfox, the field of possibilities is very vast, relatively unexplored and crucial innovation.

 HAND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within the Data Science team and in collaboration with the different Sigfox teams:

• To propose and develop predictive algorithms from the data managed by Sigfox to create new offers of monetizable data services, eg geolocation service through a machine learning approach
• Development of python code and proposal of coding methodologies for prospective and industrial applications
• Technology watch in the fields of mission
• Spin-off of a culture of data analysis and data science in the company
